While this is my full equipment list, I like to mix it up quite a bit so that I can bring a different sound to each of my performances. Currently I am playing most of my tracks from the dual CDJ unit, while I use the drum machine and turntables for special effects and to remix the songs on the spot. Important note: I DO NOT PLAY PRE-MADE REMIXES. Although there's nothing morally wrong with this, I think that it's lazy and unfortunately becoming very common among DJs, especially with the popularity of CDJ units. Not to mention, why would you want to hire a DJ back if you know he's going to do the same thing every time? I refuse to fall into this trap and use a variety of equipment so that I can do something new for you each time I play. If you like what I'm doing on the decks, enjoy it, because you probably won't hear me do it again. Unless, of course, if it's recorded onto a CD.
