Prioress Tale
This tale is takes place in an Asian town dominated by Jews. In their town there was a school opened for the Christian group because they had the lowest population. One of the boys learned a Latin originated song named the Alma redemptoris in which was about the Virgin Mary. After finding out the mean of the song he continued to sing it. He them came across a group of Jews singing the song. The Jews didn’t like what they heard beat him up and slit his throat. His mother went around looking for him and asked the Jews to help her but because they did the crime the refused. By the time their mother found him he was still singing the Latin song. Of course the wound was fatal but as they worry about to bury him he then spoke again. The only way he was allowed to speak was because the Virgin Mary had placed a pearl on his mouth. After moving the pearl he went on to heaven leaving him a peace and a cures for the Jews who had killed him.
About Prioress
Prioress is a nice, gentle, caring woman. She was the type of person that took small tragedies to heart. She manly cried over anything. Also her tale was about a child that was killed by Jews for singing about the Virgin Mary.


Feudal System
Feudal System is when the king awards the men who provide soldiers to the Kings army. The nobles, the barons, and the bishops were reward land and a little power for their contributions. The peasants were the lowest people in his system and by them working for the king they were promised to be protected.
Geoffrey Chaucer
Geoffrey Chaucer was born on 1340-44 and died on 1400, at London. His education is unknown but it was told that he knew how to read French, Latin, and Italian.. But he made his Greatest work in English because at that time, work was manly written in Anglo-Norman or Latin language. One of his greatest works was Canterbury Tales that he created in his early 40s. The book, was left unfinished because of Geoffrey Chaucer pasting.
