In 1993, two groups from L.A., Rebels of Rhythm and Unity Committee, joined together to form Jurassic 5, an original hip hop group comprised of four MCs and two DJs. Their first single, "Unified Rebellion," debuted in 1995, and since then they've come out with 3 other singles and two full length albums, Quality Control and Power In Numbers. I first heard their music from Power In Numbers in my hip hop dance class, and I was even more intrigued when I found out that Orlando Bloom is a fan of theirs (I'm a big Orli fan), so I checked out their website and became a street team member. Their new hit single "What's Golden" tops my list of favorite songs.
