Short Biography

Jeremy Andres, aka Lyrikalz of Prime, born in Long Beach, CA at Long Beach Memorial Hospital was first exposed to Hip Hop in 1993. First heard a joint by Dr. Dre with Snoop Dogg and quickly fell in love with this culture. Ever since, Jeremy has been a proud follower to this game listening to such rappers as: 2Pac, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Nas, Notorious B.I.G., Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan and other such rappers through the 93'-2000' era of Hip Hop. Discovering his hidden talents, he began rapping around close friends and ever since then, emceeing has been his new goal.

During his senior days in high school, Jeremy just could not keep himself from writing lyrics during class. Writing in every period possible to get whatever he was feeling at the time on paper. Then over the summer of 2003, shortly after he graduated from La Sierra High School, he went on his computer and decided to rap what he wrote during high school. On June 24, 2003, Lyrikalz of Prime released his first ever album, an EP at that, entitled 'Expressions of the Truth'. An album with a few freestyles and few written songs but did not get any recognition from the area. Then during the month of August and September, he went back into the studio and began writting once again. And what came out was his first OFFICIAL album called, 'The Diary of Tears: The Movie.' A deep album with much insight into his life, he takes the listener through an emotional ride through this twenty track album. To get this album officially released, he founded 'Dude Records' to get his work off and running. Then shortly after dropping his first album, he went right back in the studio and began writing more tracks which would feature on his next album, 'Genesis,' which was released November 11, 2003. Another deep album with similar aspect from his first release. After Genesis, he took a month off to keep his focus on his college work along with taking care of some close relatives. Then late December of 2003, he went back into the studio and begin writing once again. An album to be released on January 20, 2004 entitled 'The EP is a Mixtape' which featured underground artists like Copywrite, Cage, and Jakki Da Motamouth. Also some mainstream artists in the likes of Nas, Eminem, and 2Pac. An album with such productions from Kanye West and 9th Wonder. To this day, you can find LOP currently working on the highly anticipated album from RSC 'Turn the Lamp on.'
