Cyclobenzaprine - Uses
Cyclobenzaprine is a skeletal muscle relaxant. It relieves muscle spasms of
local origin but is not effective in spasms which originate from diseases in the
brain or spinal cord.
Cyclobenzaprine - Dosage
10 mg (1 tablet) three times a day or 20-40 mg each day in divided doses. Do not
exceed 60 mg daily.
Cyclobenzaprine - Side Effects
Side effects are usually mild and consist of drowsiness, dryness of the mouth,
and dizziness.
Cyclobenzaprine - CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Do not use within 14 days after discontinuing MAOI9s.

Cyclobenzaprine - Drug Interactions
Cyclobenzaprine may interact with antidepressants of both the monoamine oxidase
inhibitor class (MAOI9s) and tricyclic antidepressants such as amitriptyline and
imipramine. If taken with those drugs, a sudden increase in fever with
convulsions may occur.
