High Flava Content

Intro:

This page has been created to showcase various hip hop artists with a main focus in early 90s hip hop. This time period spawned a large percentage of the best hip hop albums to date and a number of generally recognized classics. There were also many less known and more obscure artists who made albums that are just as dope. This site will initially feature reviews and audio snippets for different albums and expand in the future.

Updates:

January 30, 2002:

A monthly poll has been added under the Monthly Battle link for cats to vote on a series of different songs. A message board has also been added with one forum for discussion relating to hip hop and another forum for general discussion. Multiple reviews will be added within the next few weeks from various staff members. If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or want to report any dead links, click on the Contact Us link to email us.

Real audio snippets have also been added for these albums:

  • De La Soul - Buhloone Mind State
  • Jeru the Damaja - Wrath of the Math
