Fabolous' lawyer spoke out Thursday about the gun charges his client faces, insisting police have no evidence linking the rapper to the weapons in question and calling it 'not a real case.' Earlier this week, Fabolous was arrested twice in two days. He was cruising through Manhattan's Lower East Side in his new Range Rover, when NYPD blue pulled him over for making an illegal turn. He flashed a New Jersey driver's license, which turned out to be expired. The next day Fabolous let Reginald Rivers drive who ran a red light in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant and was quickly collared by New York's finest. When the officers approached Rivers' Chevy Suburban, they spotted the butt of a pistol sticking out of the back seat. Upon searching the vehicle, they turned up another handgun between the seats. Fabolous expects his next album, Street Dreams, to drop in October. He's already recorded two tracks for the album with producers Rick Rock and Mr. Fingers and is hoping to secure beats from Dr. Dre, Diddy, Megahertz and Kanye West. When he's not in the studio, the Brooklyn rapper is trying to get in touch with his fans. He just started the Fabolous fan club with his sister because he said people had no way of getting up with him. It's only right: After all, he did have a song that encouraged people to "holla back."
