and forget that you were told so many lies

and recall how it was before it all fell

U and Me, we were good, this I could tell.

The wanting to never say goodbye

the hero and damsel, with tears in her eye

riding along the beach on white horse

it was all pretend, I know that of course

But whats wrong with that? I just dont see

If the pretending felt real to U and to Me?

I dont regret one moment with U

my only regret is if U say we're thru

There's so few Hero's left to be found

U can't believe how I want you around

to hold and to protect and to chase away clouds

with your wicked laugh, that I love turned up loud!

Just think if you will, for a moment or two

why would I ever want to hurt you?

U, who I came to look forward to see

U, who had come to mean so much to Me

Once again, I am laying it all on the line

if this isn't what you want, at least be kind

and let me know with words just from U

saying maybe its best if we were thru

But, until I hear it from U, I refuse to let go

of the hope that U will let me know

that its all okay, that I dont have to hide
