Nigeria Promotes IT
The President of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo practicalised his vision of Nigeria’s role in the global knowledge society through software promotion by his generous grant of a part of the former Federal Secretariat, Ikoyi, to be used as a National Software Centre on February 14, 2005.

The President also directed government parastatals to exclusively use Nigerian Software products and services in all their operations.
