AIGHT YALL, MY NAME IS KARMEN THEY CALL ME LADY KAY (THAT IS MY RAP NAME) I LOVE TO RAP I USE TO WRITE POETRY BECAUSE I WAS ALWAYS BORED AND HAD NOTHING TO DO...THEN WHEN I GOT INTO SECOND SEMESTER OF 8TH GRADE A LOT OF PEOPLE WOULD HAVE "RAP BATTLES" I THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY SO I SAID WELL LET ME READ SOME POETRY BUT I WAS TOLD I HAD TO (RAP) IT I SAID OK GIVE ME A BEAT AND AFTER THAT DAY I HAVE BEEN RAPPING I WRITE 4-5 RAPS A WEEK OR AT LEAST I TRY TO THAT IS MY PASSION I WRITE ABOUT EVERY SUBJECT UNDER THE SUN HERE IS ONE OF MY POEMS I JUST RECENTLY GOT COPYRIGHTED,PUBLISHED INTO A BOOK, AND RECORDED FOR MY NEXT UP AND COMING CD...I HOPE YOU LIKE IT I POURED MY HEART OUT INTO IT....THIS IS ONLY A SMALL PORTION OF A LONG POEM...
They cant do nothin' to me, really an truly its like I'm stronger than ever It's only you that can move me/ an you dont need to worry you'll lose me I'm here, and I might be movin' this year cruisin in top gear/ recently I met cupid an got shot with his spear, so fuck shinin like jewllery I'd dun my career/ jus to make sure that your near you hear?/ I hope that you heard, promise me you caught every word/ 'cause I need you to know if somethin' ever occurs, you'll forever be first and you'll never be hurt/ so long as my energy stirs/ come better or worse, mornin to evening I'll work/ Jus dreamin of the day I wake up in your t shirt/ an feel my mind reverse to the first day lyin' awake prayin things will stay this way ok?/ Its ok that Ive fallen for you I love and adore you, not a minute goes by I dont think of you so I call you/ and remind you, that you mean more to/ me than I could ever believe I don't wanna sleep/ cause when I sleep I'm alone and I dream/ dream of feelin yout heartbeat, the smell of your hair, no really I cant sleep/ when I'm there, in my dreams, I can almost feel you breathe/ no longer two lovers apart, our bodies are weaved/ and on the window the steam from our bodies create heat, and forms condensation beads till we sleep/ I wake up and panic, when did you leave!? until seeeeeeen!/ I realise quite quick I wasnt lookin into your eyes, it was jus my minds eye playin tricks/ man i hate this!- or do I love it?/ cause when I am with you, even the basics are amazing/ I guess I've gotta face it, I'm hooked on you/ an as long as your movin' I'm chasin, my lifes changin'/ Jus like the tide as it glides back and forth with the beauty it's graced with/ your beautiful face is always an inspiration/ maybe u think I'm mad?, I am crazy/ crazy in love with you and I'm glad, glad cause no matter how bad/ no matter how bad they're hatin, they can't do nothin' to me/ they can't do nothin' to me, really and truly, it's like I'm stronger than ever, It's only you that can move me.
