Gwen Stefani will debut her new single, "Wind It Up," at the American Music Awards on November 21st.  The ceremony will also feature performances by Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige and Carrie Underwood, and it will air live on ABC at 8 PM Eastern.  Gwen Stefani’s sophomore solo album, The Sweet Escape, will hit stores on December 5th

Janet Jackson leads off a night of hot performances featuring Fergie and The Killers at the 2006 Billboard Music Awards.The host and additional performers and artists appearing on the special will be announced closer to the air date.  The 2006 Billboard Music Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena Monday, December 4th at 8 PM on FOX

Mary J. Blige is gearing up to release her greatest hits album, which was originally supposed to drop one year ago, before Mary and her label decided to release her platinum-plus Breakthrough LP.  The project is titled Reflections - The Journey and will drop next month.  Included in the set will be some of her hit songs like “Family Affair" and "Real Love," as well as three new songs.

The Associated Press reports that 50 Cent and Robert De Niro are in final negotiations to star in an independent movie called New Orleans. In the police thriller, De Niro will play a cop who thinks his partner was killed by Hurricane Katrina only to discover he was shot to death.  The G-Unit rapper will play the cop’s new partner.
