Its a difficult task to be a WBA All Star and some teams are not even
represented in the mid-season classic, but none was more represented then
the XT. Roswell had four all stars including John Greene, Tom Perkins,
Roy Robinson and Ed Kane. Congradulations too all four of these
players.
Roswell
Gets a "Starr"
AIn a
4 player trade between Los Angeles and the Roswell XT Monday night, The XT
sent fan favorite Charlie "Peanuts" Brown packing along with point
guard Bob Kennedy to Hollywood for veterans Maury Starr and Ryan Hatfield.
The trade adds depth to an already very deep Roswell team and
contributes to L.A's rebuilding process. "Im shocked, I loved it hear
in Roswell, but hey, its a business" expressed Brown. Brown had played
one game all season and had 2 points in 8 minutes. Starr will take over the
starting job at the point, replacing Matty Quinn who will still receive
significant minutes. Reports say there has been rumors that L.A is looking
to make many more deals, including the shipment of John Whitehouse for a
young center somewhere in the Northeast.
