Right at the center of the Bacolod City Public Plaza is the Plaza Bandstand. It was constructed in 1927 to serve the cultural activities of the early Bacolenos during the weekends. On the sides of the Bandstand by the roofing, one can read the names of famous musicians such as Beethoven, Mozart, Bach,etc.
