About the Editor

  Mogethin, in Yap that means hello and welcome.  My name is Melanie and I am from the great state of Yap.  I've lived in Yap most of my life so it is what I call home.  I graduated from St. Mary's School in 1998, SDA High School in 2002, and am currently attending Chaminade University of Honolulu in Hawaii. 

What can I say, I love living in the islands.  Living in Yap is great.  This island has so much culture and the people are friendly and fun.  I'm Yapese-American so I get the best of both worlds.  I get the easy, laid-back life in Yap, and the fast-paced, city life in Honolulu.
