Cry of Our Time: "N.O ! O.rganized R.eligion Pu-lease !!" (N.O.R.P.) Are you a "N. O. R. P." ? --A "No Organized Religion" Person?? 
I was, both because of (& sometimes in spite of) my strong belief in independent thought, yet my longtime rebellion had to come up against some very compelling reasons to re-think my prejudgement with great results & powerful healing for my life, for it is true that Truth-- & the Open Mind is the Supreme Healer… Where We went Wrong -- From Reverence to Rebellion-- -- Its nothing new! -- History's Repeating Cycle ! Every 500 –1000 years a Being appears Who is said by some to be sent by God. His/Her life and words form the core of a new religion; the teachings they bring are geared to the level of maturity of the age in which they appear. With the passing of time ( as much as 1000 years), humanity begins to "outgrow" the old teachings , & is in need of a different remedy Fit to the needs of the new age. This accounts for many differences in the various religions. The comings and goings of these Beings explain much in history.  The Cycle of Revelation The waxing and waning of religion Can be Likened to the Rising & Setting of the Sun-- The birth of a new religion… is Beautiful, like the Dawn, and seen by Few... .....As A Faith Grows, & Prophecy ripens, It becomes Clearly Seen by All, But at Sunset, its light fades; & Clarity is a memory, as the people argue over & add to or change its meanings... Many are disillusioned and angry, with good reason, at the religionists. It is time for a New Faith, a new Prophet, Who Clarifies & brings new teachings to fit the new age Once again, this is met with skepticism & scorn & The Cycle Begins Anew... Every 500- 1000 years the garment of religion must be made new Many amazing details are connected with this Cycle (See "Spiritual Springtime" among other writings) |

It's true that victimizers have used religion
in hurtful ways;
Yet it is a tool that can be used for good or evil.
Its mis-use is largely related to the misunderstandings that have put religions in competition with one another
Religious leaders have done great harm by clinging to the Outer Form
& not the Inner Essence of Spirit
Those who remain attached to the "Lamp"
Instead of its "Light"
Cherish the Symbol over the Truth...

The True Calling of the Faiths: UNITY
A legitimate, Healing Faith for Today
must uphold an Absolute Prohibition against violence.
The leader of such a Faith, the Prophet Baha'u'llah, says that
the Purpose of religion is to Unite human hearts
& that if instead it creates disunity, then we must abandon it…
"The leaders of religion", He says, set things awry by
mis-understanding "their true purpose, as agents of ONE civilizing process", -- "chapters in the same book of God…"
Baha'u'llah charges us to choose a Faith Which brings about Unity…
