The New World!
"Religion is both light and darkness," Baha'u'llah says, For,
It can be used for either good or evil.
These are times of very great light, and as that light is ignored or denied by many
we also see a very great darkness...
This is foretold, part of a natural cycle, explained in the Cycle of Revelation
In this recurrent cycle, there may be a time for religion, and for the turning away from it as well.
" Re-ligio ", meaning : "To Bind Together Again"
The word "religion" is based on
its root-- "ligio", as in "ligament", means "to bind together"; re", meaning "again": refers to the repeated cycle of revelation,
Religion has shown itself, in history, to be a most powerful force in uniting people around a common aim
Its misuse & disunity is told in "Religion
& Peace"
Believers being so swayed as to kill or die for their belief, demonstrates religions' incredible Galvanizing Power--
So… just how can religion have such galvanizing power?
It is found in the charismatic call of their Prophets.
The Prophets come for all on earth. Their ideas and ideals, once pronounced, become the property of all.
Because they offer such powerful medicine, they will begin to be recognized as such and begin to be taken up by the mass of humanity.
The Prophets themselves are often not recognized as the Source of the very ideals they espouse.
They are the voice of Spirit itself, and it is that which holds Their charisma and power,
and it is that which has fueled the great movements of the peoples of earth.
The Great Galvanizer— To Change a World
God's Great Messengers, "returning" with a new name every 500- 1000 years,
have been the world's top "Charismatic leaders" & shapers of history..
Studies have shown that a figurehead of some kind brings the greatest Unity
for communes, groups, & movements…
Great civilizations have been raised up around the infrequent Visitations of God's history-changing Mouthpieces.
Their teachings alone— however innovative-- are not enough--
The Compelling power of The Personage of the Prophet
is needed to Galvanize, Move the hearts, and create deep, lasting change
Spirit is kind, and has made it that we do not have to be linked to religion to draw on that power,
but whatever way we can link most directly to the Source of the Godly Power is
a great assist to our healing as a people and a world.
"There is hope…"
When the faiths begin to misuse power they must be separated from Superstition, man - made additions
and mis-understandings that mislead & abuse...
A New Spirit is released when a new Faith opens, re-newing, yet re-evaluating the old ways...
The Harms of the past run deep. but the sooner we can release ourselves from the old
pains, prejudices & resentments, the better, for
The price of a Closed Mind is more than we can afford in this Day...

We can come out of despair and into hope…
