Dave's Roleplaying Tips
Basic RP Tips
Don't make every RP look the same, they just get
boring after a while and nobody reads them.
Never make one or two line RP's, always make sure
reply's are in some RP format.
Don't just have your wrestler talking add a scene,
extra characters interviewers etc and be
descriptive.
Don't just ramble on, talk about upcoming matches and
fueds. Make your RP's interesting and fun to read
Attracting Attention Good Ways and the Bad Ways
Good Ways
. If you're a face maybe you could do a run-in and
save the day. This will not only get you over but
it will get you in the good graces of one side
of the fued or angle
If you can't get into an existing angle there is a
simple solution.....create your own!
In E-Wrestling the only limit is your imagination!
When you're the best, everyone want a piece of you
If you RP better, win more matches, and draw enough
heat, you will eventually get a title shot.
The Bad Ways
Losing your cool and attacking ppl is a definate no-no
tho it is affective, it causes a backlash effect
and you'll more than likely lose the match
your going for
Title Shots
Drawing heat for your wrestlers is making them
interesting for everyone. Everyone is interested in
seeing how your matches turn out. If you want
to draw heat to your wrestler you need to
start angles and fueds and get noticed.
You can usually get title shots when your
wrestlers
move up on the card. That means that they have
more important matches. Usually cards are divided
into the lower card, mid card, and main
event. When you make it to the main event you will
usually get more title matches
Top Tip
HAVE A PLAN
Think about what your opponent is going to do.
If "real" wrestling was real then they would need a
plan of attack. Look at you opponents history and
see what his favorite moves are. If you have a
valet/manager tell what they are going to do. In
five thousand years of warfare the on thing that
has been constant is that if you go into
battle without a plan you will fail!
