Ordinary Cadet |
Once you pass your New Entry Task Card, you will go to the rank, Ordinary Cadet. After you pass the Ordinary Cadet Task Card, you will go onto the rank Ordinary Cadet One Star. |

Able Cadet |
Once you have completed the Ordinary Cadet One Star Task Card, you will go onto the rank, Able Cadet Second Star, on completion of the Able Cadet Second Star Task Card, you will go on to the rank, Able Cadet Third Star. |

Leading Cadet |
When you have finished the Able Cadet Third Star Task Card and have passed the Leading Cadet Promotion Course, you will go onto the rank of Leading Cadet. |

Petty Officer Cadet |
Once you have passed the Petty Officer Cadet Promotion Course, you will go onto the rank of Petty Officer Cadet. |

Cheif Petty Officer Cadet |
There is no promotion course for Cheif Petty Officer Cadet, it is up to the Commanding Officer |

Master Cadet |
There is no promotion course for Master Cadet, it is up to the Commanding Officer |

|
|
Ensign |
This is the first officer rank, you become this upon passing your commisioning course. |

|
|
|
|
|
Sub Lieutenant |
This is the second officer rank, you must have been an ensign for a certain amount of time to obtain this rank |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Lieutenant |
This is the third officer rank, you must have been an Sub Lieutenant for a certain amount of time to obtain this rank |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Lieutenant Commander |
You must have been an officer for 20 years (yes, that's is a hell of a long time!!). In each unit there is only allowed to be one Lieutenant Commander, and they must be the Commanding Officer, unless you used to be the Commanding Officer, but have retired and kept your rank. |
