GUILTY until proven Innocent
This web page is a plea for help for our son, Thomas Palmer. Our prayer is that someone will read this and come foward with some advice, legal help, or simply your prayers. Our son was sentenced to 109 years in the Texas Prisons. Not because he was guilty but because he made someone angry and what better way to get revenge than to take his life? This was the legal way to kill our son. Now I know that you hear all the time that EVERYONE behind bars swear that they are innocent. It's like an old song that everyone is tired of hearing. But what about that one in a thousand that is truely innocent? What about them? What if it was you? Or your son? Husband? Father? Then, you too would be singing that old tired song from the rooftops - like we are. Praying for a miracle. Praying that the Lord will bless us and let that one person that may be able to help to read this and step forward. We have learned through this experience with the justice system that there is very little "justice". In fact, the only justice is "just us". In this state we have learned that a man does not have to be guilty to lose his life - he only has to be accused. No evidence. No proof. Just accused...
