The Paths Of Two... by William Lynn Gammon
When did I first notice you?
As our paths became to intertwine.
Was it when the morning dew erased the footsteps we left behind?
I have always been lonley.
On this little path of mine.
Yet now your path has crossed with mine.
Now the days are short.
But each minute I enjoy.
In your eyes I can see the happiness you find in mine.
As I hold your hand.
I can feel that you will always stay.
On these paths of ours.
That became to intertwine.
A promise to you I make.
You have made me happy.
For this I can never repay.
I will never leave you lonley.
I will dry all your tears.
I will always hold you; And comfort all your fears.
Whenever you need someone to hold you.
Just call out my name.
I'll do my best to be there.
