Welcome to Summiteers! Enjoy nature and share in its wonder...travel the countryside and see the breathtaking views mother nature created. Pull on your hiking boots and grab your hat and compass! It's about time you joined the Summiteers Bushwalking Club and saluted Mother Earth

Summiteers was established in the winter of 2001 by a couple of inquisitive and keen minded knowledge hounds eager to create a group active in learning about our natural wildlife, flora, fauna and landscape and putting this knowledge into practice by scouting the environment and observing the fruits of mother nature.





20 February 2005 - After a brief sojourn exploring other continents and cultures, Madame President and her esteemed colleague Madame Vice President have returned to their beloved Queensland for an extended stay to further their education before they take off for more globetrotting and galivanting(well MVP shall be galivanting - MP prefers a sashay). Madame President and Madame Vice President are looking forward to kickstarting their 2005 bushwalking season very soon. Please check back soon for dates. We thank you for visiting :-)

13 March 2003 - Madame President is making her grand debut onto the world stage in a couple of weeks by journeying forward and taking up residence in Japan. She is looking for to the inaugauration of the first overseas faction of Summiteers Bushwalking Club. Madame Vice President is planning a delightful sojourn to the Mystic East to join Madame President in a celebratory hike up Mount Fuji - san in August. An event which will be the highlight of Madame President's and Madame Vice President's year.

June 30 2002 - Always wear clothing that will keep you protected from the weather's elements. While it may be quite warm in the sun, often overhead tree coverage can make it quite cold in the shade. Always wear long pants and take an extra cover shirt in the winter.
