Welcome to the site of the Southern Rhode Island 4-H Dairy Club. We are a very active 4-H club with terrific members. This 4-H Club has been around over 60 years! We have many members who have gone on to be important individuals in the dairy industry and agricultural world. Past members are active in their communities and many attribute much of their success to the skills and leadership roles they learned while in 4-H.
4-H is the only youth activity recognized as educational by the US Government. It is connected to our State University, URI, and teaches not only in particular project areas, but offers public speaking, demonstration opportunities and leadership skills. Young men and women work together from the age of 7 until 19. They share and work not only to their individual best, but as a team working for common goals.
