The Pensive project was the second album released in 1999 (the third which is available by special request). In my opinion, this is the strangest farries album to date. The album was written in a month and spent a month in the mix-down stage (Quickest Ever). The lyrical content might get a bit repetitious favoring love and lost of love (due to the relationship I was in) but the music has evolved into A futuristic pop sound without using high priced toys and effects...this gave the final mix more meat and a tough edge.

What is so strange is that usually deeply in love/hard break up albums suck...but this one is different...Typically an album in this mood would be a bit repetitious and the listener is usually saying, "Get Over It"...but this album is completely different!

Sonic Youth was my first influence for this album. "The modulation" is a great example. If you know the kissing farries, then you can be assured they don't stay in one vibe or genera. This album gets that over over over enthesizes that by switching from nightclub pop, heavy metal, experimental pop, radio pop, hip-hop, and more...
