After a long one year break, the Kissing Farries returned with a further developed sound. There songs have become less experimental-folk and more experimental pop oriented. Needless to say, the structure was still there but the vibe had changed. This was due to the exit of Andy Vendetti and the entrance of Elizabeth Brehmer.
This album introduced the farries heavier-distorted grunge style, their country folk pop style, along with introducing and coining the style their known for "molested pop!" Elizabeth really help start to define that style. Songs like breath protective, nolee, and yeah could have never gotten the same effect with any other singer...especially a male. Her artistic talent is really evident in the song empty. The lyrics were done by her and she came up with the melody. The lyrical content is also changing. Instead of humorous topics and word play, they have become serious, in-depth, open, and metaphoric (is that a word, yeah i think so).Songs like one hit wonder on LSD, dreeme, and rage in society are good examples.
This album also introduces the "vision" (look at behind the music for more info). The vision was created when Tubar Momar could no longer express himself in the real world and had to resort to expressing himself in music and the "vision" for satisfaction and release. The vision, now 5 years old, has taken a mind of its own.
