Events Management Team

Introduction

What Are We?

The Events Management Team found exclusively in Nanyang Polytechnic, School Of Business Management is just one of the many stopovers in our integrated Teaching Enterprise Project (TEP). We specialize in planning events in the campus of Nanyang Polytechnic and managing them. E.g. Nanyang Polytechnic's Open House etc.

Our Job Scope

The Events Management Team (EM) plans for the event in which the theme is given by the stopover's supervisor. Thereafter the team would be dispatched to find vendors or items related to the theme of the event. Vendors who have shown interested in participating in the event would then be contacted by the EM team and a Vendor-Student meeting will take place.

Our job does not end here, preparing the formal invitation and co-operation guidelines would be done up and be given to the vendors to sign. A consignment order draft will be drafted for the Inventory Management (IM) team to start creating codes and vendors will only bring in their stock 2 days prior to the event. EM team would be on hand to take stock and keep count of the stock that the vendors have brought in.

In the course of the event, the entire EM team would be mobilized for duty. If needed, the TEP- Roadshow team would also be called in during the event. Our duty consists of running and taking care of the stall and making sure that there are no problems during the event.

After the event, the EM team would sit down with our supervisor to do a After Action Review (AAR) to evaluate the success of the event.
