Introduction

Have you ever wondered what you would look like 20 years from now Let's go in a time machine to the year 2019. You see a person who is overweight, lazy, smoking cigarettes, eating candy bars and chips and just staring into the T.V.  Who is this person? IT'S YOU!!!   You can't believe it!  What are you going to do? 


 

The Task
    Fortunately, you have a chance to go back into the present and discover ways to have a healthier lifestyle before it's too late!  Your quest is to team with a partner and save yourself from the evils of over-eating, drug abuse, and lack of exercise.
    To do this, you and your partner must complete the following:

  • Design an informative poster emphasizing healthy living.
  • Create a powerpoint showing the importance ofadopting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

    I.    You will need a partner.

    II.    Investigate web sites that promote a healthy lifestyle.

                1.  Smoking
                2.  Alcohol & Drug Abuse
                3.  Physical Fitness
                4.  Healthy Eating

    III.    Create a Powerpoint presentation  from
           the Webquest links.   The presentation should:
 
              1.  Summarize what young adults can do to adopt a healthy
                     lifestyle.
                2.  Include graphics and pictures to make it visually
                     appealing.
                3.  Be persuasive
                4.  Be presented in a professional manner
                5.  Include references to organizations & people involved
                     in healthy living.
                6.  Give resources for others to get involved.

Conclusion
