ALpha screenshot of the new track!

The new screenshot depicts an alpha version of the new track for SuperStockCar. It is an island track, featuring a private racing track. All modelling and texturing done by yours truly. The car models are based on a library model. The island itself is start-from-scratch work by me. All textures are made by me, or (severely) altered from library content(the car textures, the water texture, the very basis of one of the sky textures). The trees are made in PSP using demo brushes of Jungle3D (tm). The island, clouds, asphalt and guardrails are start-from-scratch PSP work, of which I am rather proud :-). I have 2 different trees at the moment. More will follow of course. I will spread the types a bit better to give a more realistic feeling: in the alpha screenshot, there still are identical trees very close to one another. The track features a bridge, a waterfall, a tunnel, and a track part crossing through a steep valley. I will add scenery like audience, officials, commercials and the like. ------------------------------------------------------- This page gives information on my own game, SuperStockCar, a work in progress. Enjoy the screenshots and movies!! The game is made in VB6 and uses the 3DState engine (www.3dstate.com). The game is not affiliated with any brand nor with the stock car racing event in Bercy, Paris which it simulates.
