    1999-current Telikom

    PNG (Ltd) AS400 System administrator, perform system administrative duties, rebuild restore database, creating user accounts, setup system securities features, perform critical backups and restores, configure client and client server application, apply new fixes (ptfs) both on OS and application, administer the Integrated Customer Management System( ICMS v4.1) database (a communication database developed by IBM and Telecom New Zealand)

    1994-1999 Telikom

    Telikom PNG (Ltd) a system operator basically performing system operational duties, printing of spool files, performing backup both on OS/400 and unix system.Monitoring and reporting of data line faults.

    1996-1999 University of Papua New Guinea

    Part time job as Network support officer and Micro computer support officer. Administer more than 200 computer attached to campus Network. Install and upgrade both software programs and hardware peripherals on personnel computers. Assist web master in administering the campus intranet/Email server on Solaris unix system. Install and configure all campus networking computers.

    1989-1990 Australia and New Zealand Bank (PNG LTD)

    Bank Officer- perform all general banking duties, from filing clerk, customer enquiry clerk, to a teller.

    1990-1992 Australia and New Zealand Bank (PNG LTD)

    trainee system operator performing operational duties using ICL ME29, IBM system 36

    1992-1994 Australia and New Zealand Bank (PNG LTD)

    Senior system operator performing operational task using IBM AS400, performing backups, running batch jobs, ending and starting various subsystems. printing of spool files, performing system clean up.

    Special Interest

    I have a long term interest in Networking and internet technologies, that is setting up of servers,email servers and also web base programming using java, perl and sql. I have build a linux (apache) machine from scratch which is running a web server, my next step is set a home network, consisting of a mail server, a DNS server, and a firewall enabling gateway to the internet. The primary operating system for the servers will be linux while client machine will be compose of windows operating system plus other compatible operating system.
