A few years
ago, I had the pleasure of seeing a real, live sushi bar. "not
so bad" thought I ...but upon further inspection I saw the
most horrifying thing in my life....
an
octopus tentacle!
It was
on display like a trophy. I thought to myself, "oh, it's
not that bad...well, yes!!!" Honestly people, the octopi
who may enjoy consuming ourflesh do not put us on
display down in the depths of the ocean...how cruel it is to subject
THEM to this embarassing and cruel torture.
I believe
it shows just how sick human beings have become. We have gone
from hunting our own food, to trading, to and economy where we
can purchase food made by somebody else with half our intelligence.
It wasn't
so bad when we went to a restaurant and would find hamburgers....but
did they bring you your hamburger that had attached a picture
of the cow you were about to eat?!

THINK SO!
Never in
my life have I been so disgusted with raw foods. I understand
it might taste good, it might be better raw...but yet, how can
we so cruely put it on display?! In a menu, it is okay. Eat octopus
until your heart is content....but I believe we need to rethink
the way we view our food.
