My name is Tina Kunshier and I am a Learning and Development Manager for a major medical device producer in the Minneapolis, MN area. The division I work at manufactures devices for stenting, balloon angioplasty and diagnostic Catheter Lab procedures. The Operations Learning and Development role supports all manufacturing conducted in our 2 Minneapolis facilities at the Engineering and technical levels. I have been with the company for almost 7 years in varying roles in training. My Bachelor's degree is in Business Management.
Previous to working in the manufacturing industry I spent 8 years in retail management with a focus in training. I have had the opportunity over the years to work with some great teams and develop training to support business needs. In manufacturing my focus is on developing courses for the classroom and on-line to help evolve our employees and meet strict federal regulations to enable us to not only manufacture our products but to sell them commercially throughout the world. As my career evolves I have come to realize the need to broaden my training experiences to incorporate distance learning and the benefits it can provide.
I live in a Northwest suburb of Minneapolis just far enough outside the metropolitan area to enjoy a quiet, small-town atmosphere with the big-city activity just minutes away. I enjoy camping, traveling and working in my yard.
