We believe that everything we do, as a people, is creative to who we are. Therefore, we the people must have a platform where all may be freely expressed without ridicule from staff and other members. That platform is The TNSC Community.
What does that mean?
It means that everthing you can do has some level of creativity to it.
Whether its art, stories, poetry, photography, sharing ideas, sharing ideals, Role Play, modeling, or any other thing you do with yourself and your life - it is as Creative as you are. Even pornography can be considered creative.
What is Creativity?
Many people have different views of what they consider "Creativity." However, the true context of Creativity is: Showing or inspiring the imagination, to make new things or ideas, to present oneself, and/or to preform. In all honesty, Creativity is the concept of creating or making things. Creativity doesn't just have to be art, or stories, or poetry. Creativity exists in all we do, and should be unhindered.
Creatvitiy should be unhindered?
Yes!! Very much so. Many sites out there today boast allowing users to be creative. However almost all of them have put rules into place that hinder the full freedom to express this creativity. For example, many art sites may not allow adult art or pornography. These art sites may also limit or completely disallow photography, even though photography also holds some artistic merit. Some of them may limit the type of art they allow, hindering the creative process. Almost all these restrictions are for selfish reasons (excuses) made up by the staff of the site. Therefore, the staff ridicules your creativity by limiting it.
Since TNSC is a site owned by its users, the users are free to express themselves.
We have no hard set rules against what the users post. All we ever ask is that users abide by all laws when expressing themselves. This is to keep users out of any possible trouble with any law enforcement, and it keeps TNSC online. We also ask that users express themselves in the appropriate areas. We have users of all ages and users who visit TNSC at work. Lets make sure all are safe when they are on TNSC. (In other words: Adult themes, ideas, and images must be in the Adult Areas - where kids and users at work don't have to look at it.)
The most important aspect of TNSC is that our users have fun and feel safe.
TNSC is an Open Standards Community website that was put into place to celebrate all forms of creativity. We use the Open Standards and Creative Commons to let users fully express themselves in a safe environment. Users are safe from Ridicule not only from The DWS Team, but also from their peers. Without our users, TNSC would not exist. So, our site rules reflect our desire to allow these freedoms while keeping everyone safe.
While the hosting and maintenance of TNSC is taken care of, and controlled by, Drako's Website Services, TNSC was not created simply to benefit The DWS Team. We created TNSC to benefit people in search of a safe place where they can freely express themselves however they desire to, as long as this self expression complies to all applicable laws and is not a blatent form of harmful disrespect of their peers. TNSC Site members are free to post anything, as long as it is mostly harmless and legal. All members still agree to the Site Rules and the DWS Terms of Service, as listed on the menu on the bottom of each page, by simply using TNSC.
TNSC site members have helped form the TNSC website into what it is today, and will continue to form TNSC into what it will be in the future. That is why TNSC is a Freedomist Community, catering to all people from all different walks of life. TNSC, an Open Community by the users and for the users.
Another important note:
Most of TNSC's Membership system only requires you to enter in a username or e-Mail address. Simply by posting to any part of TNSC, or joining the chats, you become a member of TNSC. Only a few areas would requre users to signup with a username and password. You may find those areas using the "Join" link in our "Home" dropdown menu above.
