To all of TNSC's users and visitors:
TNSC is a FREE Community website for all users, no upgrades or paid packages required. TNSC is hosted and maintained, for FREE, by Drako's Website Services (DWS), on FREE web hosting. DWS created TNSC to be an open community that anyone can participate in and enjoy.

We offer TNSC as a safe and FREE site, without the fear of shutting down due to a lack of funding or donations. Therefore, TNSC will be ad supported as a part of keeping the site free for all its users. However, we are willing to remove all server based ads, with the exception of Angelfire and Tripod, if users donate to TNSC. (Angelfire and Tripod have grandfathered us into the current free plan. Upgrading those hosts now would mean a shutdown of TNSC, unless one of our users is willing to take up the monthly fees for the hosting.)

We have noticed rumors spreading about TNSC hosting Viruses and Malware, and would like to address that issue.
A few people have stated that since we are ad supported (like almost every other site on the net), we must be spreading viruses and malware. This is a false accusation, and therefore counts as libel. The people spreading these rumors may have seen one page of the site, and have no knowledge of its internal working, nor our Code of Ethics. We would also like to point out that if by having ads, a site is spreading malware, then that would mean every website is spreading malware.

To set the record straight, we feel that the spreading of malware is illegal, and we do not tolerate legal violations. On top of that, all of our hosts are against the spreading of malware within their Terms of Service. We top that off with our own Community Rules, DWS' Terms of Service, and our own User Account Security Guidelines. All of which state that illegal activities will be banned from DWS/TNSC and reported to authorities. This includes harassment and the spreading of malware.

We do have a strict privacy policy. The policy is simple: We will never share any identifying information with any 3rd parties, unless it is for legal purposes. We rarely use anyones e-mails or other contact information to send out anything ourselves, and therefore have no reason to share that information with others. The only exception to this rule is in the instance of a legal investigation.

We will admit that one of our hosts shows up on at least one blacklist - causing at least one anti-virus program to block it as a malware site. That being said, we also fully investigated the cause of this before continuing to use that host. We found out the root cause of this issue, and that the cause had already been dealt with by the host. Also, due to our strict Policies, we double checked our site on that host for viral activity. The host came up clean - even using the scanner from the very anti-virus program that blocks it. Therefore, we are able to determine the host is clean and safe to be used.

If an issue like that arises with any of our hosts, we will fully investigate it and determine if it is indeed safe to continue using that host. If we cannot determine that it is fully safe to continue using any of our hosts, we will move all files from that host and stop using them.

We would like to assure you all that TNSC is a safe environment for everyone to view, submit to, and enjoy.
