An Interactive Timeline on events in my Life and Times

  • Your timeline should include 3 columns: one for each year of your life, one for an event in each year of personal importance and one for an event of wider international importance.
YEAR       AN EVENT IN MY LIFE      AN  INTERNATIONAL  EVENT

                                                             etc.
  • Select one event from your life. For this event, create a new web page in your website and describe the event in more detail. If possible you should have images (photos, objects etc.) to illustrate this event. For  the event you might like to consider answering the following questions:

a.       When did the event happen?

b.      How old were you?

c.       What exactly happened?

d.      Can you describe the details of the scene – what it looked like, any smells/sounds/colours you remember?

e.       Can you remember any dialogue (conversation) from the time this happened?

f.        Why do you think that this memory sticks in your mind so much?

(These questions are from  Miss Boughey of Weatherhead School )

  • Select three events of international importance that occurred during your lifetime. Create three new web pages to describe these events. As well as describing the event carefully and choosing a picture to illustrate it, you should also explain why you think the event was so important.
  • In total your website should have at least 5 pages. As a final touch add a photograph of yourself as a thumbnail image on your homepage.
