I put on my web belt and backpack as I looked up the valley and saw the summit still in the clouds. At least it wasn't raining! We would be climbing the right most ridge in the picture (know as the "Middle Ridge") and then crossing along the summit to the left till we reached Wiliwilinui Ridge which is out of sight on the left.
As I was getting ready so were the other hikers. Just about 8:05 Mabel gave us our directions. Most of us would go up the middle ridge while a smaller group would drive up to Wiliwilinui and work up toward the summit.
