History

Herion Roofing, Inc. was started in California by William Herion in 1949. Lee Herion joined the company and acted as Operations Manager until 1964 when he moved his family and his share of the business to Illinois to introduce cedar shake and shingle roofing to the Midwest.

We are proud of our roofing heritage we are a fourth generation roofing family with decades of roofing experience.

Cedar Shingles: In four generations of roofing we conservatively estimate we have applied enough cedar roofing at 3,000 square feet per home to have roofed over 20,000 homes in Illinois and California.

In the interest of conservation Herion Roofing, Inc. offers a roof cleaning, repair and treatment service for cedar roofs and decks. We can more than double the useful life of cedar roofs using our preservation treatment program.

We offer a complete sheet metal service with quality seamless aluminum gutters and copper gutters. Leaf Proof Gutter Guard, siding: aluminum vinyl and cedar siding. Skylights installed or replaced, chimney repairs, custom cupolas and weathervanes.
