Human Foosball
Are you ready for some Human Foosball? Yes, you heard right. This popular table
game found in bars, cafés and arcades around the world, now takes shape in a
life-size, inflatable version. Ten participants, five on each side, enter the
50' x 30' arena. Each of the participants is fitted with a waist harness, which
is connected to long poles replicating the foosball table game controls. Each
player's movements is constrained in their specific zone, and played in an
identical fashion as the table game. Teamwork is paramount in order to score a
goal against the opposition. Pure fun!
Zumba
Putting some rhythm into your workout is going to be fun, hot, sexy and sweaty
affair with the latest thing since Tae Bo, Zumba. It's an aerobics routine that
is performed to the infectious rhythm of Latin music. Zumba combines high=energy
routines and motivating music with unique moves. Zumba is a spicy mix of
Flamenco, tango, salsa, hip-hop, calypso and belly dancing. It's beginning to
sweep across America, having had its humble beginnings in Colombia. And since we
like everything Latin, this fun Latin dance-aerobics fusion could be knocking on
our doors real soon. So get ready to shake those hips and lose some weight doing
it!
Pilates-aerobics
We've heard of Pilates, it's the latest craze. It's gradually gaining popularity
here in Malaysia. Imagine a combination of Pilates and dance aerobics. Fuse hi
or lo aerobics with mat-Pilates conditioning. Start with a warm-up, then lead
right into a high-energy aerobic workout and for the final 30 minutes, use
mat-Pilates to strengthen core muscle groups, providing a gentle stretch for
your tired muscles. Pilates-aerobics is a well-rounded workout that blends
classic aerobics' moves and ballet steps, concentrating on the torso, arms and
legs, as well as, stretching and blending for abs.
Aqua Athritis
Calling all senior citizens! Here's something that may interest you, Aqua
Athritis, specially designed for those suffering from the debilitating affects
or arthritis. Expect to participate in a series of water exercises that include
gentle stretching and water walking in a warm-water therapy pool. Aqua Artritis,
with the aid of the water's buoyancy and resistance, can help to improve joint
flexibility and strengthen muscles weakened by arthritis. The warm water and
gentle movements can also help relieve pain and stiffness, typically associated
with arthritis.
Plyoback
Plyoback, which was developed as the perfect medicine ball partner. (The
medicine ball is a weighted ball, first used in physical therapy programmes, to
strengthen the upper body muscles.) Plyoback is based on plyometric exercises
that encourage the strengthening of as many muscles as possible at one time for
total body and bone building. This is what you'll have to do: throw the medicine
ball against the Plyoback and it bounces back. Simple but by doing so, you'll
actually working your chest muscles, shoulders, core and abs plus lengthening
the muscle fibres when experiencing resistance from the weight of the ball.
Adjustable to different angles, the Plyoback can also be used for jogging and
can be converted to a mini trampoline.
