There are various armor types and materials. Each item has unique properties. Type denotes the style of armor (Light armor, heavy armor, etc). Weight denotes the amount of your maximum carrying weight this item will fill. Skill denotes which skill will bestow more competent ability with this armor type. Value denotes the base value of the item without using Mercantile to improve the price, and without having enhanced it's value in any way. Enchant denotes the amount of enchantment which may be placed upon a particular piece of armor. Health denotes the amount of damage the armor can receive before requiring repairs or replacement. Armor rating denotes how much protection the armor adds to your total armor rating. Your total armor rating is how well protected you are against physical (non-magical) attacks.
