BARDONIA, NY - It’s a sad day in music history, as drummer Steve Osso has left rock band fluffer, citing creative differences. He’ll be playing drums for Good Charlotte as they kick off their “Anarchist Takedown of Fascist Corporations Through Music” tour, at the Pepsi Arena in Albany, NY on June 12.

Reached for comment, fluffer lead guitarist Joe Nicolosi wondered aloud, “Steve left? Fuck…why couldn’t Galkin leave?”

In response to this, bassist Joe Galkin attempted to shrug his shoulders in a disarming gesture of disinterest, but began to scream in agony as he inadvertently ripped the piercings precariously fixed to his lower back from his tender flesh.

Asked what this means for their future as a band, fluffer contend that they have already begun to accept applications for a new rhythm section. Sorting through them, guitarist John Freiler was heard to exclaim, “why did Chris Joyce send us thirty resumes?”
Practices with new musicians should commence shortly at stately Nicolosi Manor. But how does the rest of the band feel about the lineup change?

“New rhythm section? That means a different bassist, too,” Galkin whines.

“Shut the fuck up, Galkin,” Nicolosi replies.

“We’re thinking it was about time for one, anyway,” Freiler explains. “I mean…he was making us change all the letter a’s on his paychecks to little anarchy signs. He doesn’t even have any a’s in his name.”

Regardless of reasoning, both parties maintain that the split was amicable. And maybe, just maybe, one day, we’ll have a fluffer reunion tour. This reporter’s fingers are crossed.
