Group Doll Project - Christmas 2001

A group of us worked on a group project. Group doll projects are a great way for several people to get to know each other while working on a wonderful project. This type of swap can be very therapeutic if organized correctly and followed through to the end.

Christmas 2001 consisted of four (4) dolls and four (4) people. The dolls were donated and each person had to choose their doll at the beginning.  The end result would be, a pretty doll to add to their collection. Lee D., Becky M., Leslie and Dolla had the pleasure of working on these lovely dolls.

The stunning fashion is designed by Lee.  It's burst of sequin and velvet is very appropriate for the holidays. Becky M. did the very gorgeous faces. The dolls are a far cry from their original look.  Leslie styled the hair into a beautiful coiffure, a fashionable flip.  The trend of the season.  Dolla did the accessories (jewelry, velvet flocked shoes and purse) to  complete the ensemble.

These babes were the talk of the party.  Each doll was mailed out before Christmas. Such a nice project and great gifts to each other!  Try a group doll project.  It is very rewarding.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
