this is the new mommy.. and they tell me this starved dog cannot eat or drink until tomorrow. howeve.r. she has sprinkled around my tiny house to say .. this is mine. it was a battle of good versus bureaucracy to save this puppy and with all the kindness and good thoughts of so many. she is happily asleep.. can you imagine being 8 weeks old and your mom and sibs being euthanized.. no telling what those first weeks were like.. and then being tested for worms.. your toenails cut (oops.. blood.. ooops.. she never even whimpered.).. then you are adopted.. meaning you are put in isolation.. all alone in a tiny 2 or 3 foot cage separated from everyone.. then they give you worm med that makes you
get a bit of diahrehea.. and then finally you are taken out.. where they cut you open and leave big garrish stitches.. but you still wag your tail.. you go pee on everything with whatever you can muster.. and you got his lady that kept coming by saying hold on. just a bit longer.. and now she won't even feed me.. but i am asleep somewhere.. cause it has been a long day. a long life.. but i think life is great.. don't you? Shug is a lucky little girl... especially to have Sandy as her mom.

I am giving thanks to the Good Lord that the Shug and Sandy have found each other ! No doubt in my mind that this is a match made in heaven.. can't wait to get my hands on Shug, and welcome her to our family, too!
