My family and working with computers

is my hobby.

I've spent a lot of time around computers since the eighth grade. When I started college, I knew working with computers was where I wanted to be. I started learning about the hardware, networking and installing different types of software but I was still uncertain as to what area I wanted to specialize in.

Mid-term, I decided to move to a different town and that's when I met my wife and suddenly things started coming together. After we married and had our first baby, we decided it was my time to go back to college to finish what I had started a couple of years earlier. After my second term, it finally clicked! Database Administration is what I enjoy the most. It is truly my passion and hopefully what I'm best at thus far! I like to build things from scratch via databases and I like to think of the best possible layout for forms and reports. I know it's unrealistic to think that a DBA position would be available to me right out of college but I do know it's in my future. After being a DBA for some time, my goal will be a Systems Analyst by the time I'm 40 years old.

I have been blessed with a loving wife and two daughters; ages seven and two. I enjoy spending time with my family for any occasion. Some people say that too much family can wear you out, but that's not the case for this family. From celebrating birthdays, holidays and BBQ's to all the trying things that families go through, we have managed to stick together.
