Welcome to ClassicWrestlingReports.com - The number one source for detailed classic wrestling show reports and nostalgia! An Introduction and guide to the website Hi there! Thank you for visiting my website! For those of you who know me, welcome aboard. For those of you who don't know me, let me introduce myself. My name is Stephen Lyon, and since January 2002, I have been the WrestlingObserver.com weekly recapper of the WWE Classics tv series, that airs on Thursdays every week on Sky Sports in the U.K. For the first eight months of 2002, the shows I recapped were 'WWF Wrestling Challenge' shows, from 1987 and 1988. After the WWF name was changed, due to the World Wildlife Fund's lawsuit, the Challenge shows were dropped, and 'NWA/WCW Worldwide' shows were aired instead, which I continued to recap for the Observer website. This website is an on-going collection of all of my reports that were first published on the WrestlingObserver.com website. Many thanks must go to Dave Meltzer, editor of the Observer website, for giving me the chance to write for his site in the first place. This website is by no means the finished article, and will continue to grow and improve as time goes by. It also features a collection of my reports from the live events that I have attended over the years, as well as photographs, program covers and ticket stubs. New features will be added to the site as time elapses, so keep visiting back. Happy reading! Features Home page: The main page of the site is updated regularly and contains links to appropriate news and interesting pictures, in accordance with the latest WCW Worldwide show airing on t.v. For example, when the t.v. shows are circa May 1992, the news will reflect this. Think of it as stepping back in time... well, at least what time would have been like if the internet had existed in such an advanced and populist form in May 1992! On the left hand side of the main page, the yellow box contains a series of dropdown menus which allow readers to access a particular report quickly, simply by selected their desired airdate. Below this dropdown menu is a picture link, entitled 'Classic Wrestling Reports.com Live!' Upon clicking this option, readers will access a page displaying thumbnail picture links to all the reports that I have written on live shows that I have attended live over the past 12 years. On the right hand side is the 'News and Features' box, featuring picture links to a variety of ubiquitous news items and features. I'm hoping to build up these categories over the coming weeks and months, sharing some of the lighter sides of wrestling. If you have anything to add or something that might interest me, don't fail to me e-mail me. I want this to be a fun website, and it'll be even more of a fun website of readers are participating and suggesting ideas too.
