Chicago Magic Lightning 91/92

The Chicago Magic Lightning 91/92 is an Under-11 soccer team from Illinois. We are committed to player development at the highest level. In July 2002, we finished second at the Under-10 National Championships. Our coaching staff includes John Hannan, a USSF National "A" Licensed Coach, National Staff Coach, and Region II ODP Head Coach; Mike Matkovich, Director of Coaching for the Chicago Magic Soccer Club, a USSF National "A" Licensed Coach, Head Coach of the Chicago Fire Reserves (PDL), National Staff Coach, and Region II ODP Coach; Jeremy Alumbaugh, a USSF National "C" Licensed Coach, and Jim Wing, a USSF National "D" Licensed Coach.

Chicago Magic Soccer Club

We are part of the Chicago Magic Soccer Club, home of 61 Illinois State Cup Champions, 12 Region II Champions, and 2 National Champions. The Chicago Magic's first Director of Coaching was Alex Hernandez, a USSF National "A" Licensed Coach, Head Coach of the Lyons Township High School Boys and Girls Teams, National Staff Coach, and current Director of Coaching for the Lyons Township Soccer Club.
