This is my (Vanessa's) tribute to one of my favorite movies/musicals, NEWSIES!!! (Don't make fun of the text or backround colors.) If you haven't seen it you should (except for maybe Casey because we all know she hates musicals) Anyways,yeah, so it's really good beacuse the guys can all sing, dance, and almost all of them are really cute. And in the words of my friend Becky "It has a great moral lesson...I just don't know what it is yet."
Jack Kelly:
This is a picture of the main Newsie, Jack Kelly. His friends call him Cowboy. But they don't know his real name is Francis Sullivan.(Confused?) His dream is to go to Santa Fe and start a whole new life there. In my opinion, he is the cutest Newsie, although Spot comes really close. :-) P.S. Christian Bale is so fine! I just love him! Don't you? Ok sorry. I just had to put that. He's 28 now. Yeah Anywho, (long silence) ................... On to Davy Jacobs... Davey Jacobs:
This is David Jacobs! He is also a main character. There are two words to discribe Davy.....HOT MAN!!!! Well, those were the two I was thinking of. And he is; especially at the end when he's visiting the old guy (Pulitzer) with Jack and he's looking all proud and defiant and he has sweat stains under his armpits...ewww...YUMMY!!!!!!! ANYWHO....His dad got hurt in his job at the factory, so they fired him. Now David and his younger brother Les have to get jobs as Newsies to bring in money while his father is out of work. He is wise and has a mind of his own. Some of the other Newsies call him a talking mouth. David and Jack:
David and Jack become really good friends. Together they lead the Newsies on strike when they discover they are being charged more for their papers. Jack as the leader and figurehead and Davey more as the words behind him. Jack developes a crush on Davey's sister, Sarah. Theres a creepy old man in the background who looks like he's smelling something REALLY bad! (long silence).......... I just had to say that. It was funny. OK then. Sorry. If you have seen this before, it's because it was on my second Newsie page.......(long silence)...... I desided to combine them and not listen to Papes who said we couldn't have a newsie page! But she can't do danything about it so I made one anyway!!(AHHAHAHA!!YES!! I BEAT THE SYSTEM!!TAKE THAT "PAPES"!!!)(long silence again.....) ANYWHO......., this is a picture of Spot Conlon. He is the leader of the Brooklyn newsies and is the most respected newsie is New York. He's really cool and really cute!
All Jack's Newsies....Rioting....In the newspaper stand!
These are the Newsies. They are Rioting. They are in a Newspaper stand. They have gotten together to riot...in the newspaper stand. They are ripping up papers and throwing them in the air, typicall of when you riot...in a newspaper stand. They are having a lot of fun in this Newspaper stand...rioting. They like jumping on the paper of the newspaper stand they are rioting in. Are they just being mean? NO!! It's all part of rioting...in Newspaper stands!!!!!!!(...........................................UNBELIVEVABLEY long silence!!) ANYWHO.................. All Jack's Newsies....(Not Rioting)....(In the Newspaper Stand): This is a picture of all Jack's Newsies (except for Davey and Les)They have stopped rioting....in the newspaper stand, and are tired. The guy on the bottom left looks like he has no eyes. Probably from rioting too much...in the newspaper stand! The guy with the eye patch, quits his rioting Newsie days and grows up to be the voices of the charaters in South Park.(Yup, you guessed it: long silence)...... The guy with his hat on a stick passed away a while ago. We'll miss him. :-( This is them singing. The first one has got to be one of my favorite ones of them singing. It's just so "spiffy" looking:

He is a cool Newsie who has the greatest accent! Racetrack loves to go to the Racetrack to gamble and bet on horses. He usually looses though. LOOK AT HIM!! He's the king of New York! Suddenly he's respectable. Starrin' right at 'cha. Lousy wit stacha!Aint he pretty? He's the king of New York!!

Les Jacobs: This little boy below is Les, Davids younger brother. He is Jacks partner in the begginging and brings Jack and David together to also be partners. Isn't he cute? Yeah well he grows up to be on MTV's undressed...
Ok then... I have no clue who this Newsie is! Oh wait yes I do it's Pie Eater. But I have no clue why that matters or why I put him on. Umm...yeah...Pie Eater Ok this is Mush. He is a pretty cool Newsie to and Papes has a crush on him. (Go papes, go Papes) You can see why she does is these pictures below. Check out Sarah scraching her self in the back round of the first one.

Sarah Jacobs: Well, this is Sarah Jacobs. I guess I have to write about her because she is David's sister and Jack's love intrest and possibly the luckiest girl ever but stupid because she didn't realize it. Ok sorry. She annoys Papes and me. She and Jack like each other. She also really likes PLATES!! And setting the table!! Woo-Hoo Sarah! You go get those plates. Does anyone else see what's so freaking exciting about those them!!!!!! YOU ARE SITTING WITH JACK!!! AND ALL YOU CAN THINK ABOUT IS @*&^*%#% PLATES!!!! You know what? I'm not even going to show a picture of her!OK yes I will but JUST because Jacks there with you...
Boots: Boot's is shweet. (intended to be spelled that way)He grows put to become Lizzy McGuires, Gordo, and Miranda's cool teacher on the Diseny channel show, Lizzy McGuire. Denton is a newspaper writer who writes about the Newsies. Some people say he has a crush on David but he doesn't he just really likes David...right?
This is a REALLY small picture of Pulitzer. Pulitzer is the one who raises the price of distributing the papers causing the Newsies to go on strike. He is the bad guy.
