I was born on a hot summer Friday on August 8, 1997 at Hoffman Estates Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. My mom had me 4 weeks early because she developed high blood pressure. At 5 lb. 13 oz. I was a cute baby girl with brown eyes and brown hair. When I was close to 2 months old, I startled my mom because I giggled for the first time. I was also awake and played for the longest time thus far. About 4 weeks later I was sucking my hand (not fingers) and also started grabbing things. Unfortunately, at 4 months I caught my first cold probably from my cousins when I went to Mia's birthday party. At 5 months in December I learned to put things in my mouth and to sit up with a little help. A month later at 6 months, I said my first word "dada", had my first cereal meal and my parents also discovered that my first 2 front teeth were coming in. 3 more months later, my mom went back to work and just in time, I since then slept through the night. Then came little grandma and grandpa Narcisa to live with us and took care of me while mom and dad were at work. We played and played and I learned more stuff like the word "no", waving bye-bye, standing up, and finally, walking.
