Calendar of Events
for Beep Baseball and
the Coventry South Sharks

The 2003 season for the National Beep Baseball Association (NBBA) League starts in May. Below are some details on upcoming tournaments for Beep Baseball across the nation, involving teams in the NBBA League.

** OUR PRACTICES...
Right now--for our 'Spring training,' we practice every Tuesday & Saturday afternoon, from 5-7 PM. We meet up at our coaches' house, at 4579 Lenty Road, in Coventry. It's off of 619, to Eastern, and Lenty is off of Eastern. Turn onto Lenty and it's the second driveway on the left, and the empty lot you will find us practicing in and/or meeting in right now is just past that house. Come on by! Call (330) 745-7853 for more details.

You will find regional and national NBBA Beep Baseball tournaments below, as well as local game & event listings for Akron's beep baseball team, the Sharks.

More will be posted soon, as we schedule our games with teams and organizations in our community, so please check back fairly regularly to find out who we'll be playing.

If YOUR softball or baseball team would like to try your hand at a game of beep baseball, please contact us today to find out how. In our first official season, 2003, we are bringing in regional teams and organizations to help to let the community know we're here, and to help them to learn about the sport of beep baseball, and experience how the blind can & do play baseball.

High school teams, college teams, men's or women's, radio-station, firehouse or FOP teams. We'll play them all. It gives us more 'practice' to help us prepare for the upcoming beep baseball tournaments around the nation, lets others in our community learn about and experience the sport first-hand, and it's all great fun. So contact us today about your team playing against the Coventry South Sharks beep baseball team.

There are the nation's tournaments as of this writing in early Spring. Some of them the Sharks will be attending, but not all--this season.

Lack of funds is mainly what's keeping us from traveling to these tournaments so far. We were hoping to make the Indy tournament but had to back out. We're still planning on heading out to the viper Classic in Columbus & the World Series in Denver, though, so don't fret too much. *smile*
