Scrub The Web
Thank you for visiting my web page, this web page is about native american beadwork and my heritage.my family is from the Fort Hall, Indian reservation and Nevada, we are Shoshone Bannock Tribal members but we are of paiute descent.
My family was raised in the traditional manner with all the language, customs and traditions of the tribe. Our grandmother was known as a master in the art of hide tanning and beadwork specializing in intricate
floral and geometric designs of the Intermountain tribes.
My grandfather who worked very hard during his time as a retired tribal agency worker as a custodian, CHR, gardener, caretaker and more at the Fort Hall Indian agency and the old hospital through the depression years and also a hunter, and trapper after his retirement, (After my fathers death) He helping my mother, and grandmother to feed and cloth we five grandchilren, and also helped us by telling my sisters and I about the colors of the sky and the animals, explaining to us about the markings, and movements of certain wildlife.
Our grandparents both were very great people to our familys who they raised and cared for.We had alot of encouragement in getting our educations and in doing our beadwork from both grandparents, I combined both geometric and wildlife together and developed a style that is very unique.
I take specialty orders for large types of handmade beadwork items. All pictures on my web page are examples of my work.
