This outstanding stallion has been with Elmo since birth.  She was the vet hired to ensure nothing would go wrong with the birthing of this extremely precious foal.  She  has always been an avid horse enthusiast but had never considered starting her own operation.  The owner, seeing Elmo's  interest in this young foal, informed her as to whom his parents were.  Elmo was invited to stay with him unto the foals' first year of training; She gladly accepted. Unfortunately for his owner buying a breeding to his sire had been costly and they were now almost in ruin.  He closed the stable he ran and asked Elmo to look after his training.  Elmo regrets to say she never heard from him again.  Thus, Cat Thief was now Elmo's. She was overjoyed.  Physically there could be no equal to her colt.  His exquisitely shaped head and high crest flowed down into a delicate, teacup shaped muzzle.  His fluid canter with high tail carriage gave him the likeness of a phantom.

His exuberant attitude has always made him very playful and, when in the pasture, you can always see him frolicking through the green grass and racing against the swift wind.

Cat Thief has entered his retirement years at the age of 15.  It was at this time that he came into my possession.  Elmo having had little time decided to get out of the horse industry and as such I was able to come into ownership of some great arabian horses.  Cat Thief will become a prized member of the Masterpiece Arabians family.  Although he will no longer be an active show participant or stud stallion he may from time be bred to a select few broodmares.  We are hoping that Cat Thief will settle down and enjoy his retirement.  Looking over what he has accomplished in his life he deserves it.

I am sure his name will be mentioned and remembered by those of us in Horse Venture who had the pleasure of meeting him as well as new members will meet his bloodline and be in awe of it when they compete against his foals and grandfoals in the show ring.
