I am a Manager for a major recycling company in Florida and dabble in recycling issues and always love to talk and try to help those with questions and see what's going on in the industry. I have been involved in recycling for 14 years, and have worked with curbside recycling (newspaper, aluminum, plastic, glass, steel cans, magazines and telephone books). I've also been involved in office recycling (white paper, computer paper and colored paper, files, etc.). I've been active in the startup of new recycling plants and currently manage a 60,000 square ft. plant that sits on eight acres and process approximately 4000 tons of newspaper and cardboard. I am on the Board of Directors for Keep Orlando Beautiful and hold an active membership in Keep Florida Beautiful, National Recycling Coalition, ISRI, and Recycle Florida Today. I am active in Public Speaking and teaching our youth the values of Recycling.
