Here is "Merry Christmas to Thee" from JCS Ornament 2000 issue magazine, finished Jan.20 2002. It's stitched on 18 ct. tile blue aida. It turned out bigger than I thought it would but it was because I didn't stitch it on 32 ct. over one per the instructions.
This is a Lizzie*Kate design I finished 9/29/01 called "Snug as a Bug". It's stitched on yellow 14 ct. aida and framed in a cute frame I found at Joann's on clearance.
This is a Waxing Moon design called "Pumpkin Thyme". It was finished 9/28/01. Stitched on caramel 14 ct. aida.
This is February's Christmas ornament I did for a Monthly Stitch-Along in 2001. It is from the JCS Christmas ornament issue magazine. I stitched it on 32 ct. silver linen.
This is the first Christmas ornament I did for a Monthly Stitch-Along in 2001 with a goal to do one ornament per month. This is January's ornament. The idea is to have more ornaments for my tree at Christmas or as a last minute gift. This was stitched on 18 ct. white aida cloth, and came from Nov/Dec '87 issue of Cross Stitch & Country Crafts.
This is "Happy Cat" by Bent Creek. This is my first experience with Gentle Art Sampler Threads...I'm hooked!
This is the quilt top that my wonderful MIL, Mildred, helped me to finish for my dad for Christmas 2000. His mother did the quilt top and had been put away for years until we found it. I've been told it's called a Fence Rail pattern.
